Aircraft Records Analyst

About the Position

The Aircraft Records Analyst reports to the Aircraft Records Manager and is responsible for compiling, auditing and retaining all AMF maintenance records as required by Maintenance Operations Manual (MOM) §I, MOM §IV and the Aircraft Records Standard Operating Procedure (ARSOP).

Responsibilities

  • Support the retention and safeguarding of all permanent and non-permanent aircraft records.
  • Review aircraft records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify & audit of recorded maintenance in the computer data management system, DASH.
  • Document all major appliance part movements, inspections, and shop visit activity in the associated hardcopy logbooks.
  • Assign record discrepancies via AirVault Workflow utilizing Error Correction Notification (ECN).
  • Validate Fleet Configuration Management per DASH for relevant correlation to approved maintenance programs.
  • Assist maintenance personnel queries via email & telephone regarding basic procedures in relation to Aircraft Records.
  • Provide records of last done / next due for major appliances in support of vendor repairs.
  • Accommodate authorized requests for aircraft records and historical records of maintenance as required.
  • Ensure Aircraft Registration requirements are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Must have proficient computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous aircraft records experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) as applicable to air carrier aircraft recordkeeping
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Able to lift 25 pounds or more
  • Work in both hangar and office environment
